La ASOCIACIÓN PARA LA DIFUSIÓN DE LA CULTURA Y EL ARTE LATINOAMERICANOS se crea a finales del 2007 para promover en España todo tipo de iniciativas artísticas de distintas culturas del mundo, principalmente de origen LatinoAmericano.
Así, pretendemos desde la atención a colectivos vulnerables como los inmigrantes o las personas mayores, promover valores de convivencia y educar en la diversidad a partir de la puesta en marcha de iniciativas y actividades que den a conocer la riqueza del patrimoniocultural y artístico del continente.
Además, queremos trabajar por el desarrollo de proyectos sociales, culturales y artísticos en el territorio Latinoamericano, en el marco de la cooperación internacional.
La existencia de esta asociación tiene como fines y objetivos:
- El FOMENTO DE LA CULTURA LATINOAMERICANA en Europa, con especial atención en la DANZA y dentro de este apartado, las danzas argentinas como el TANGO Y FOLKLORE.
- La PROMOCIÓN DE NUEVOS ARTISTAS LATINOS que, por falta de medios, no tengan la posibilidad de desarrollarse profesionalmente.
- El ACERCAMIENTO A LA POBLACIÓN DEL ARTE Y LA CULTURA latinoamericana en todas sus facetas.
- El FOMENTO de la comunicación, el intercambio de ideas y la COOPERACIÓN ENTRE ARTISTAS de todo el mundo.
- La INCLUSION DE COLECTIVOS SOCIALMENTE VULNERABLES tales como: inmigrantes, familias de escasos recursos y discapacitados físicos y mentales.Asimismo, la Asociación pretende dirigir sus actividades de forma preferencial a niños, jóvenes, mujeres y adultos mayores de 60 años.
- La RELIZACIÓN DE PROYECTOS SOCIALES,CULTURALES Y ARTÍSTICOS EN LATINOAMERICA.

Young performer from Villa General Belgrano (Cordoba) was
trained as a full‐qualified dance teacher of danzas folklóricas
argentinas, as well as tango dancer, in the Instituto IDDAFA
with the great dance teacher Antonio Bello. She was main
bailarina of the “Ecos de Tradición” Ballet for 12 years,
performing along the whole of Argentina in contents and
festivals as dancer, as well as singer not only in tango but
also in folklore argentino. She started teaching dancing at
seventeen in classes offered in Cordoba, Santiago del Estero
y Tucumán whilst at the same time she was singing and
leading her tango and folklore argentino quartet.
Since the moment she started living in Spain she continued
with her three great passions – singing, dancing and teaching
– first from Santander and now from Madrid, performing and
teaching in several festivals.
Today, Mariana Mazzola is a soloist singer that has been
described as “Graceful, Tanguera, Feminine and Passionate”.
As musical Director of the “Compañía Austral de tango y
folklore argentino” Mariana has recently opened a new
Project with the brilliant coreographer and dancer Eloy Prim,
called “Ecos del Sur”.
Mariana Mazzola is an active member and Madrid
representative of ADICAL (Asociación para la Difusión de la
Cultura y el Arte Latinoamericanos).

Carolina Loureiro is a great concert pianist
with a versatility that allows her to
simultaneously work in a vast variety of styles
(folk, jazz, new age) and projects.
Her ability makes a perfect match with
Mariana’s skills to take her voice and the
Tango to a new standard of elegance.
She was born in Villagarcía de Arosa in 1972
and studied piano in Pontevedra and Madrid.
Her recently edited CD, Géminis, stresses her
sensibility for the Celtic folk influences.
Therefore, she is a musician not to miss in the
near future not only for her creativity as
composer but also for her talented way of
playing.

The show is based on the songs that blooming in the
golden age of the Tango thanks to brilliant composers like
Cátulo Castillo, Homero Expósito, Alfredo Lepera, Aníbal
Troilo among others, including a tribute to Carlos Gardel.
There are also in the show those sparkling songs that were
known as Tango Canción (by Astor Piazzolla, Horacio
Ferrer, Eladia Blázquez and Rubén Juárez).
As a plus, Mariana performs other songs that give the
audience a flavor of the rich Argentinean folk music that
connect with the soul of the Tango.
LA COMPAÑÍA AUSTRAL
The “COMPAÑÍA AUSTRAL de Tango y Folklore” is the most
ambitious Project of the Adical Association in order to
promote the Latin‐American culture an art.
The main aim of this initiative is to show the music and dance
of South America in Spain and Europe, putting the stress in
the interaction between dancers and audience, as well as in
the cooperation between different countries and cultural
views, with the greatest possible respect for the diversity.
Another interesting point is that the Company helps to put in
touch and work together to quite a few Argentinean artists
resident in Spain.
HUELLAS DEL SUR is the first Project of the Company,
recently opened in Spain in February 2009.
