We communicate all over the world

Only with the help of electronic signal pro-cessing can the value transmitted by the loadcell be visualised and processed. A moderntransmitter must be able to handle the classicalcommunication like for example analogue signal and signal transmission via relay oropto- coupler output: 16 bit analogue out-puts with zoom function can transform eventhe smallest signal into a standard signal asfor instance 4-20mA. Beside this the trans-mitter provides digital inputs and outputs forsignalling and release. If local indication isrequired simply choose an indicator in placeof a transmitter.

Sartorius electronics know the standardsMore recently signal transmission via digitalinterface as for example RS 232 or RS 422/485has become a preferred option. The Sartoriusultra-modern digital transmitters and indica-tors are equipped with all standard protocolslike DUST, JBUS/Modbus, Teleperm.

Sartorius electronics have many hiddenqualitiesOur ultra-modern transmitters and indicatorsare not only designed for optimal data-pro-cessing but also help to make the weighingprocess as comfortable as possible.• They allow remote calibration and can be

configured via PC or terminal; remote maintenance is also possible.

• They support ‘smart calibration’, developedby Sartorius. This means: hauling heavyweights is no longer necessary. With thehelp of the load cell data you can commissiona vessel in minutes in a reliable and exactway.

• With the help of special drivers (DDE andOPC drivers) the weight values can be visualised, processed and saved on a Windows compatible PC. The transmission of the data to the PC is realised e.g. byEthernet.
