Tanzila Mahmood: Who am I ?

I was born in Brooklyn, NY and have lived here all my life, but spend a lot of time in Manhattan and Staten Island as well.

My parents are from Bangladesh, a country in South Asia. This is a picture of the capital city.

Like many people, graduating high school was an important aspect of my life. Also I went to school in Brighton beach, so I got to see Coney Island everyday.

Naturally being from new York, I really love pizza, especially when its from a local pizzeria.

When I was younger I used to paint and was even exhibited in an art show for young artists.

Something I wish I would have continued was ballroom dancing, I started when I was around 10 but chose not to continue before I turned 12.

I love competition based reality TV! I my favorites are America’s Next Top Model and Chopped, I like Project Runway and Dance Moms as well.

My favorite sport to watch is soccer, so of course I watched almost every single game during the world cup. I’ve been a Germany fan since the last one in 2010 and I knew they would win this year!
