Name of Production: JJR Productions

TARGET AUDIENCE:My target audience reaches out to teenagers/young adults that are aged at 16-25. My soap opera addresses the problems that teenagers or young adults have suffered and gives solutions on how to tackle them. These problems can be depression, stress or heart break.

The soap opera reaches out to students mainly from secondary school to further education at university. The characters in my soap will be the same age so the audience feel attracted and can ‘personally identify’ – Katz or find similarities between themselves and the character so they can relate.Using Maslow hierarchy of needs, his level of esteem, the audience can find confidence or self-esteem in the character they have similarities with.
