ANALYSIS OF MY AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ON MY SECOND MUSIC VIDEO IDEA

To gain audience feedback on my second Music Video Idea and the Electronic Dance Music genre. I created a Survey Monkey Questionnaire. This asked a variety of questions to my audience including who they were, where they shopped and if they knew anything regarding the Electronic Dance Music genre, as this was the genre of my new track.

In order to present my findings in a fun and imaginative way, I created a Twitter account. This presentation, I will analyse my results, explaining to you why 'Sarah Green's' Twitter is the way it is.

Firstly, I created a Female to be my account user as my audience feedback indicated the majority of my Target Audience whom took my survey were female. As you can see from this example, the majority being female.

My user's age also being 18, due to 8/9 of my responses being from people this age, see below:

For Sarah's online biography, itstated how much she lovedEDM as well as Pop and Alternative Music as 3/9 and 5/9respectively listened to thisGenre of music.

Also changing Sarah's location to England, UK as theMajority of my Target Audience live in places within England.

In Sarah's biography, I also stated she was hoping to go to University. The reason I did this was because the majority of my target audience are students themselves so I hypothetically imagined Sarah to be an 18 year old Sixth-Form student hoping to go off to university to study into her early twenties (which is the age range of my Target Audience). See response below:

Sarah also 'tweeted'/'followed' a variety of Fashion Brands and high street shops. These included Primark; New Look And Urban Outfitters as these are justA selection of clothing brands my Audience shop with.

To reflect my audience's opinions on what they knew about the Electronic Dance Genre and its features, I posted a series of tweets to mirror my target audience comments of:

expect it to be unique, and strange movements

really loud, repetitive sounds

... See tweets below...

When asked What social media do you use regularly? My most popular responses were; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube. See response below:

Therefore, I created a Twitter account to present my findings because of this. I established Twitter was one of my Target Audience's most popular Social Media site. Along with Facebook and Instagram, I would now being able to use this to market my products as to know what social media platform would be best for my audience. I also 'followed' various social media accounts on my Twitter page to show this.

I followed Electronic Dance Music related accounts also as I felt this was apt to really illustrate who Sarah was representing.

This was such a fun and exciting way to convey my audience responses. Creating the Twitter account allowed me to convey the generation that love Electronic Dance Music as this generation are also highly technological and social Media driven- Just look at the EDM genre itself, it really can only be created through the use of media and technology.
