Marketing Mix (4p’s)Compare McDonalds to Bravo to Blue Star

Quality (service

and product)

Price Place Promotion

McDonalds Service can be slow at times, depending on what time you go in. Food is good, but unhealthy for you. More of a family place where parents take their kids.

A reasonable price, but they also have deals and coupons for their food.

Niagara Street, a high traffic area making more customers come into McDonalds. Have competitors near by causing them to lose a little bit of customers.

Flyers, TV commercials, radio commercials, signs

Bravo Food is very good quality. Service isn’t the greatest, it’s slow. They do not come around to tables very often. It’s upper class compared to McDonalds.

A reasonable price for an average family. It’s also a reasonable price for the amount of food you get for the price.

Niagara Street, a high traffic area making more customers come into Bravo.

Signs, some flyers

Blue Star The quality of the food is good and healthy depending what you order. It doesn’t take long to be served. The waiter/waitress are helpful and seat you quickly. They are always checking to see if everything is good and there are no problems.

A reasonable price for the average family. They serve a great amount of food for the price that they give.

Corner of King Street, has a reasonable amount of traffic. No competition close by. It’s not the best place for the restaurant, because it’s on the bad side of the neighbourhood.

Blue Star advertises by using the odd flyer and signs.
