• Zen is the total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind

• It involves dropping illusion & seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts

Origin of Game

• The English and French word tarot derives from the Italian tarocchi, which has no known origin

• The singular term is tarocco, commonly known today as a term for a type of blood orange in Italian

• Among many theories to the origin of the word, one relates the name "tarot" to the Taro River in northern Italy

• Game seems to have originated in northern Italy, in Milan on the other side writers believe it comes from the Arabic

on 78 tarot cards, 22 are called major arcana & 56 minor arcana

• Minor arcana are divided into cups, wands, swords & pentacles

• Out of the 56 minor arcana tarot cards there are 16 court cards which are the kings, queens, knights and pages

• They represent the people in our lives and also our attitudes and personalities
