URBAN HARMONY (http://www.urbanmusicproductions.com/urbanharmonyvocalgroup)

A lively and funfilled team made up of singers and vocal / choral trainers with a strong sense of stage                                       performance, dance and interactive performance.

The singers, Angie, Zalina, Stacey, Earl and Hekko are                 all very talented performers who, together create an               excellent blend of creativity, comedy, musical           arrangements, fantastic emcee skills, great         kidsappeal, dance and stage sense.

A lethal combination for a pow wow a cappella                 ensemble. The mission of this group is to work on                   each performance by creating and crafting an             audiencefriendly and highly interactive show each           time. The team will also be the first in Singapore to be                       childrencentered and childfriendly.

The repertoire consists mainly of familiar tunes that will get everyone singing along as well as providing                                 them with an inspiring and lighthearted moment.

URBAN HARMONY’S SINGER PROFILES

Zalina Lee is a celebrity singer, a thespian and jazz vocal trainer who hails from Kuala Lumpur. Her                                   credits in musical theatre, A Cappella, choral and solo singing makes her an experienced performer, as                               well as a highly sought after personality. Zalina is a largely versatile singer who can perform rock to pop                                     tunes and even jazz and hip hop tunes and more  a huge asset for UH.

Stacey Douglas is the latest addition into UH with her unique voice and groove when performing her folk,                                   acoustic and jazz songs, lending a beautiful voice to the team. A singersongwriter, as well as a music                                   teacher, Stacey has released 4 albums.

Angelina Choo is the founder of The A Cappella Society and is a music teacher and vocal trainer by day.                                       She sings the alto and tenor section depending on what’s needed in each arrangement. With her                               background as bass in an all female vocal group, Angie has developed a rich lower range that comes                                   very useful in UH.

Earl Lazo hails from the Philippines. He is a scientist by trade and is the tireless Music Maestro cum                                     trainer of VocaBlends, a Singaporebased Filipino choir besides rocking it out with UH. Earl grounds the                               group with his low bass notes but is also capable of a mean solo.

Hekko Wicaksono hails from Jakarta in Indonesia and is a fulltime artiste with The A Cappella Society.                                 He holds the team together with his amazing skills in vocal percussion and instrumentation. Organic                             percussion sounds that fit each and every song is his motto and it shows in the way UH is presented.
