ActivitiesThe festivities of San Pacho are organized since 1926 and during each year, from September 20 to October 5. Is a religious festival enriched with cultural expressions of African. The people do, dance, troupes and prayers in honor of the patron saint, also make dolls sitting on floats that make movements to express some of the
social, political or cultural village. every neighborhood of the city has a day to celebrate and show their colors to the public, are 12 neighborhood Fraciscanos.
Clothes• In holiday season all
the village people wearing colorful clothes and costumes representative of African culture. Other people are wearing clothing like that used on Saint Francis of Assisi. Thus dresses walk and dance through the main streets of the city of Quibdó.
FoodWhen the day ends and with the routes, it is tradition that the people who live in the neighborhood responsible of the parades and the celebration that day, get people from other neighborhoods with food.Traditionally people offer fish stew, smoked meat, fried fish and liquor.
