To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this letter of recommendation for my friend and colleague Teresa Tucker.

I had the pleasure of working with Teresa from 2010 through November 2015, when

Teresa was laid off as a result of a massive reduction in force our company conducted.

Letters like these are generally written to speak of a person’s ability and attitude, and

certainly Teresa exceeds in every area of safety, customer service, food preparation,

passenger accommodation, and discretion. But she is so much more than just an

outstanding employee. In everything that she does, she strives for excellence.

Over the course of her career, she has taken the initiative to improve her skills; in

addition to the standard Flight Safety training, she is a certified EMT and has obtained

specialized training in food preparation, customer service and business etiquette. She

also is continually seeking ways to contribute to her department and elevate her

coworkers. As a member of the Caterpillar flight department, Teresa participated in

numerous projects and committees that worked to improve our operation.

As a pilot on long range international corporate jets, I rely highly on my flight attendant

to care for the needs of both passengers and crew. Teresa has never failed me, and I

have personally seen her in action during an emergency where our aircraft APU caught

fire on the ground with four passengers onboard. She remained cool and cared for our

passengers during the event and even afterwards when we were left stranded in the

middle of a blizzard, with no accommodations for our passengers beyond the aircraft

cabin.

For these reasons and more I give my highest recommendation without reservation,

and hope that you will have to opportunity to personally experience her service and
