DESCRIPTION
Try out the Tax Status Calculator now at http://www.ceocommand.com/taxstatuscalculator.aspx ------- If you're self employed, you can view your estimated tax status for the current year, or a recent year, in seconds with this simple online tool. Created by CPAs, the CEO Command Tax Status Calculator (TSC) easily calculates business owners' and self-employed individual's Federal Income tax based on data that you enter. But first, a brief explanation. This tool is designed to estimate your Tax Status for the current or most recent year, but will be reasonably accurate as an estimate for other tax years as well. --Note: the calculator uses 2013 tax rates-- Therefore, all figures are annualized as if the current or most recent year data is complete, based on what is currently known. This feature allows your Command Center to forecast how the current or most recent year will turn out when you actually have final data. Keep in mind that things can change as the current year progresses, or as you gather better data if you're working on a recent year --- therefore, whenever you want, you can give input to update your Tax Status to make its forecast more accurate. In a matter of minutes, you'll be prepared for April 15th like you've never thought possible...TRANSCRIPT

Tax status calculator
The Tax status calculator (TSC)
Created by CPAs, the CEO Command Tax Status Calculator easily calculates business owners’ Federal Income tax based on data entered.
In a matter of minutes, you’ll be prepared for April 15th like you’ve never thought possible…
Let’s get started!
Filing status and dependants
First, you’ll need to specify your own information including:
your “Filing status”, your “Total Dependents”, and children that you have under the age of 17.
Entering Income Next, you’ll enter figures in the boxes to represent what you expect for the entire year. Any
questions you have about these slots can be answered by simply clicking on the question mark next to the title.
Adjusted Gross Income
On this page, you will enter figures that adjust your gross income downward by entering annualized figures
in the boxes that pertain to you.
Itemized deductions
You will then come to your page of itemized deductions. Common
deductions like Property Tax and Mortgage
Interest are entered here. Some miscellaneous deductions you can only
take if the total exceeds 2% of Adjusted Gross
Income.
Tax and credits Then, we have the page for tax and credits. Here you have the opportunity to factor in credits for things like “College Education” and “Residential Energy”. Also, you can see in this section what your tax results are so far.
Payments
Moving on, you will enter in all federal income tax withholding and estimated tax payments. This also includes
overpayments and extensions.
You’re done!
Based on the figures entered, you’ve estimated your Tax Status for the current year. If you would like to see a
different scenario, just click the topic you want to revisit in the menu bar above, and alter your input for a different
result.
