remains the same.

Also announced are

the new services andministry in theorganization, mostnotably the BCLPDirector and Liturgy

Ministry.

BCBP Mactanreceived a directivefrom Mancom datedJanuary 14, 2010,formally informingthe termination ofthe EcoReach AlayKay Nanay Programeffective 31

December 2009.

Personally, I did notknow how to relaythe news to theNanay beneficiaries. Iremembered themany text messagesforwarded to me bythe DO from the

Nanays making followup of the release of

Cycle 3. I tried tothink of the effect tothe Nanays, theirhusbands andchildren. I alsothought of how toinform the DO whowas just so willingand happy to accept

our offer of a meagerallowance for theadvocacy we startedin 2008. With allthese thoughts andquestions, I prayedfor guidance on how

to approach them.

With heavy heart, we

informed first theDO and the Center

officers making themunderstand thatwhatever wisdom inall good things we do,God is in full controlover the plans. Theyaccepted the newsthough with heavy

hearts.

Alay kay Nanay was abeautiful thoughshort lived project oflove. Indeed theNanays hope foranother pro poorprograms of thecommunity. WithGod’s blessings may

there be otheravenues to reach out

to them.

Action Groups.And as we accept thisnew assignments, andwith new members inour midst, the Lordis calling us onceagain in Mark 1:17,

The affair saw six firsttimers attending andp a r t a k i n g t h esumptuous breakfast.Sumptuous becausethat was how thesharing was and the

food as well.

The were two minisharers. Tony andRose Tagulao ofCebu South and Royand Flor Soler ofCebu Central. KuyaMayong and AteJeannete Rodriguez,

Sad to note howeverthat BCBP Mactan hadthe lowest attendanceon that day with only24 members

attending.

“By Hook or bycrook” had all thebreakfasters laughingout loud as the 2ndbreakfast mini sharerdescribed how Godbrought him to

BCBP.

On February 27,close to 400 BCBPmembers of MetroCebu attended thef i r s t r e g i o n a lbreakfast of the year.It was jointly hostedby BCBP Central,North and Southchapters to celebrate

the coming of BCBP

The grand launching

on Sunday, March 21,of the “Bumoto”election advocacy bythe combined forcesof six BCBP chaptersand outreaches inCebu received theblessing of HisEminence CardinalRicardo Vidal during

their meeting lastMarch 9. During themeeting theAdvocacy Campaignwas presented to theCardinal, togetherwith a sample of thetarpaulin, and thePrayer in bothTagalog and Bisayawas read.

A copy of the MOAbetween theCOMELEC, PPCRV,and the BCBP, the

Advocacy CD, Bisayaprayer and the letterfrom PPCRV ChairMrs. Henrietta deVilla were given tothe Cardinal.

His Eminenceafter thepresentationinformed the groupthat he would

endorse the prayerto the Commissionon Worship of theDiocese forreview. After which,His EminenceCardinal Vidal willissue a circular to allParish Priests withinstructions for thefaithful to recite theprayer in the dailymasses.

As part of thelaunching activity,

each Chapter willsponsor a Mass in themorning of March 21,Sunday, in theparishes within theirarea assigned for thiscampaign. The Masswill be preceded by aconvoy of cars ontheir way to thechurch, with the carsdecorated with the

advocacy campaignmaterials. TheAdvocacy Tarpaulinwill be prominentlydisplayed in theChurch premises.

The BCBP chaptersunder Cebu RCDHector Tinaparticipating in thisElection Advocacycampaign includeCebu Central, CebuNorth, Mactan,
