Welcome to TBeats Studios! We are a group of talented individuals that have a passion for music and the business of the music industry. Tony Thompson, owner began his career in the construction management industry and quickly rose to become the leader of it with the largest minority owned firm in the Midwest; Kwame Building Group. What many do not realize about Tony is that his first love and passion was music. When Tony began college, he was poised at obtaining a degree in the music field. Now that Tony has several successful ventures under his belt, the next chapter of his career has begun with TBeats Studio. Offering the most creative and innovative equipment in music production, TBeats Studio gives aspiring artists the opportunity to have a sound that is second to none.

“We help musicians achieve a professional sound and look without expensive budgets,” said Thompson. “We put our whole being into each artist to help them develop their vocals, stand out in a crowd of performers, and learn the business of entertainment.” TBeats provides four in-house producers, a full marketing department and PR services complete with website designers, graphic artists, and photographers. The equipment at TBeats Studio is the same you would find in Alicia Keys’ Jungle City production studio because we believe that the way to do business is to do it as well or better than the top competition. More than $500,000 has been invested in the downtown TBeats Studio including a top of the line SSL board. Tony oversees the entire company and has built it so that it is owned by the artists and not just one individual. A leader and cutting-edge idea!

TBeats Studio is owned and operated by Tony Thompson. Our in-house producers include a staff of four seasoned experts led by our newest member, Joe Capo, a two-time grammy award winning music producer with over 20 years in the music industry. Kwame Thompson provides legal and contract management to the business and artists. Sylva Wilson is our business development officer and oversees the marketing, strategic planning and operations. With over 18 years in the marketing and business operations industry her critical eye helps keep us on track. Nichol Stevenson assists in our Artist Development department with Tony Thompson. Tyrell Thompson is our in-house photographer and graphic artist from album covers to mind blowing hand-drawn designs. Monica Black handles artists PR and is the resident Etiquette Coach.

Our team has been hand-picked by Tony Thompson himself. Only the best and brightest are on board. Having a true passion for the industry is a requirement and having the ability to have fun while working is a must!

MARTY GRIPTITEBorn in 1986 in Saint Louis, Marty Griptite has quickly emerged onto the scene with a fire and hunger unmatched. With years of experience in production, engineering, and writing, Marty takes the aspect of all around artists to a new level. He has produced several tracks for multiple artists in various markets, regions, and countries, landed his song on five different bi-coastal mixtapes, reached number 25 on reverbnation charts in his city, and much more. KINGPINCharleston, Missouri native Artist, Kingpin is the label’s 4th artist with his upcoming new album release. The venture comes after a long round of conversations about the business of music and its increasingly changing reach to audiences. Kingpin also is known for various community events such as barbeque’s Labor Day events and basketball tournaments. Kingpin’s priority is giving back to the community, which he was raised and would like to continue this tradition with his musical talents through TBeats Entertainment. BRIANNA ELISE BROWNBrianna is a fascinating young lady with class and poise beyond her years. She has a voice capable of seamlessly gliding through different styles and time periods. It seems the world has found its new “voice”. Currently, under the guidance of T Beats, Brianna has found a way to express all her talents as a solo artist and in the formulation of a jazz band called Brianna and her Trio, consisting of a keyboardist, a bassist and a drummer. GABBIIWith many songs written to her credit, GaBBii Jones is best known as the smart, funny, and witty singer with a soulful sound that is sure to melt your heart. GaBBii, an accomplished student and actress in her own right, was selected to sing in Junior Stars at Six Flags at the age of 10. Most recently, GaBBii was feaured in the Gateway Classic as the headliner singing the National Anthem. Listen to her single “I Like It” now.

DHARMA JEANAngela Sutherlin known on the St. Louis underground music scene as “Dharma Jean,” has performed at various venues around the St. Louis area, including; Blueberry Hill, The Pageant, PLUSH and the Gramophone, to name a few. Her performances have garnered attention from The Riverfront Times and The St. Louis American. Angie “Dharma Jean” was a 2011 “American Idol” contestant and made it to the Hollywood auditions. EVENTSSeveral times a year, TBeats Studio hosts events at premier locations. In the past 6 months, we have held a listening party in St. Louis at the downtown TBeats Studio location, a summer camp for children which each artist participated in giving back to underprivildged youth, a listening party in Atlanta, a live concert for Brianna Elise Brown, a live concert for GaBBII, and two concerts for Vivian Green and Kindred The Family Soul which our artist opened for. Upcoming events include a college tour concert in Southern Missouri, a listening party at the Four Seasos RoofTop in St. Louis, and much more.
