Puppetry in PracticePuppetry in Practice, based at Brooklyn College’sSchool of Education, is a nonprofit organizationthat incorporates folktales and storytelling, puppetdrama, and book arts in its work. In addition toin-school residencies and professional developmentworkshops for teachers in New York elementaryand secondary schools, this creative arts groupoperates a free after-school resource center opento children and their parents.
