Attend the fall TCA leadership summit in Austin, TX

Identify a campus and/or community member to serve as an officialmentor during the year of service

Mentors will be required to submit mentorship agreements

Project idea and action plan submissions

Bi-monthly phone calls with New Politics Forum staff 

Bi-monthly video calls with committees

TCA Event Schedule: Ambassadors will be expected toattend at least two of thefollowing events. Housing and travelstipends will be provided for requiredevents. August 13 – 16, 2020TCA Leadership Summit - a statewideconvening of ambassadors at theUniversity of Texas at Austin. (Required) September 24-26, 2020Texas Tribune Festival- a weekend ofdebate and dialogue featuring thebiggest names in politics and policy. October 2020Thought Conference - fall eventcentered around a unique theme inpolitics, civic engagement, andcommunity participation. March 2021Great Conversations - an annualfundraising dinner that bringstogether state and local communityleaders for a stimulatingconversation on topics relevant tocivic life. May 2021Campaign Bootcamp- a 3-daynonpartisan training in whichcampaign operatives teachsessions on modern campaigntechniques and share tools andstrategies needed to manage or workon political campaigns.
