BECAUSE YOU ASKED!!! In 2017, once again you will be able to hear the classic tunes of Hank Williams at the Red Door Theatre!

There is only one Hank Williams and only one actor who can bring him to life—JASON PETTY. Jason began portraying the legend, Hank Williams on country music's biggest stage in 1996, the world famous Ryman Auditorium, in the critically acclaimed musical biography, Lost Highway. After two years, he began touring the US, including the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Canada with the show. In 2002, the show went to New York and made its off Broadway debut where Jason earned off Broadway's highest acting award, The Obie, for his riveting portrayal of the musical genius and tortured soul, Hank Williams.

And now, audiences at the Red Door have the opportunity to see Petty’s bigger than life performance in his one-man show, Hank Williams—The Lonesome Tour!

The Red Door Theatre is offering this incredible musical production first to our season subscribers who will be permitted to purchase the same number of tickets as they purchase season subscriptions. Orders must be in by January 4, 2017, to receive priority consideration. (This is just one more reason to order season tickets!) Any remaining tickets will go on sale as general admission to the public on January 5, 2017, on a first-come basis.

The Tourism Council of Bullock County and the Red Door Theatre are excited to offer this outstanding production of the very entertaining Jason Petty in HANK WILLIAMS—THE LONESOME TOUR.

I WAS GENUINELY SURPRISED, STUNNED BY PETTY’S FORCEFUL,

CLEAR-EYED AND MOVING DEPICTION OF WILLIAMS.
