Colombia, as many other LAC countries, faces a great challenge in terms of increasing its productivity

Colombia has put in place an institutional framework under which is working, among others, on a Modern Industrial Policy agenda to increase the country’s productivity

Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3)

Bogota-region has been working on two inter-related productive development agendas, which puts it on the front of the line in comparison to other regions.

Bogota has been implementing the most ambitious cluster development agenda in Colombia:

How are we organized?

RIS3 and cluster initiatives has just become the central agenda of the Regional Competitiveness Commission of Bogota - region

• What role are cluster initiatives going to play in the implementation of the RIS3?

• How are we going to prioritize projects under the RIS3?

• How are we going to address agendas and projects for those sectors that currently don’t have cluster initiatives?

• How are we going to align agendas and resources both at the national and local levels?
