There’s a Lot Going On at TCS!

In the A Classroom, after spreading compost over our garden beds, and digging and raking the vegetable garden bed, we planted seeds. The garden is a project that lasts most of the year...we’re happy it was time to plant!!!In B East, we recently read "Jamberry" followed by our own jam tasting: strawberry, raspberry, blackberry & blueberry; and comparing: same/different.!!In B West, we recently explored apples, weighed them on a scale, estimated how many seeds and counting actual seeds, and recorded on a graph.!!The Kindergarten class, we had a wonderful tour of the in’s and out’s of the Himmel Park Library. We had fun seeing where the books go in the book drops, learning why sorting is important, and had a picnic and play time at the park.!!

• We are looking for a donation of large 2’x2’ boulders for our children to climb.  Help our children build gross motor skills, balance, strength and confidence.

Jeep Cherokee Raffle

Win a 2014 Jeep Cherokee this year if you purchase a raffle ticket from TCS by October 31st! Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. The raffle ticket drawing will be held on November 13th, 2014.

Starry Night! Who will you bring for this beautiful night under the stars? Each year TCS hosts a fun filled evening event for adults to raise funds for the school.  Hundreds of great donated items, gift certificates and trips are raffled and auctioned off.  The 2014 auction is scheduled for November 15th, here at the school. Air Conditioning at TCS!

Well, we did it! After a year of very hard work fundraising, our amazing TCS families were able to bring air conditioning into our classrooms.

This is such an appreciated upgrade to our school as the school year starts earlier than ever, and the children are now able to cool off inside after their day of challenging play.

Alumni Giving Back

Elliot Baruch began TCS in 2005 and graduated from TCS Kindergarten in 2008.  Elliot's mother, Dana Narter, is a current Board of Trustee.  This summer, Elliot Baruch generously gave back to our school by creating tremendous, new saw horses.  We thank you for your continued love and support of our school.
