Setyrene 74 XX-60

styrene and acrylic modified alkyd resin based upon blends of semi-drying vegetable fatty acids

Technical features

Very good pigment wetting properties, high gloss and build, good mar-resistance and exterior durability.

Application

Setyrene 74 XX-60 is recommended for usual spray and dipping applications in air-drying, forced drying, stoving primers and specialty finishes.

Typical outlets are:

1. hammer-finishes

2. drum paints

3. enamels for agricultural implements

4. enamels for big rolling stock

Storage should be under cover, out of direct sunlight and avoiding extreme temperature changes.

Under normal storage conditions (5 35C, away from extremes) sealed, unopened containers of this material would have a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. If it is stored for longer than 24 months, it is recommended that the product is rechecked for suitability in the intended application.
