Under this system a blank postal ballot paper would be transmitted to them electronically. This would cut short the delay experienced in the present system in two-way transmission of ballot paper by the postal services. An official release said, the technical team of the Election Commission has developed the system to Now, service voters can receive e-postal ballots transmit blank postal ballot electronically to the voter. Voters entitled to postal ballot such as service voters, can download the postal ballot and print the blank postal ballot and after marking his vote in the blank postal ballot,would return the same to the concerned Returning Officer by post as in the present system of postal ballot. The Commission proposed that all the categories of voters eligible for postal ballot may be allowed to cast their votes through this new system. However, on a pilot basis, the e-postal ballot system has been introduced for service voters consisting of central para military forces, other forces subject to the provisions of the Army Act, armed forces of a State serving outside that State and those employed under the Central Government in a post outside India. Cyclonic storm 'KYANT' over eastcentral Bay of Bengal Port Blair, Oct. 25 The cyclonic storm 'KYANT' over eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved west- southwestwards with speed 11 kmph and lay centred over eastcentral Bay of Bengal, near Latitude 16.8º N and Longitude 90.6º E, about 610 km north-northwest of Port Blair, 660 km south-southeast of Gopalpur and 780 km nearly east of Vishakhapatnam, on Oct 25. The system is very likely to move west-southwestwards towards westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 72 hours. Under the influence of Cyclonic Storm (KYANT) over East Central Bay of Bengal, strong Southwest to Westerly wind speed between 35 and 45 kmph and generally rough seas likely along and off Andaman and Nicobar coasts. Accordingly, the retail selling price of SKO per litre will be Rs.20.35 while the whole price of SKO per litre will be Rs.19/-. The overall Pass Percentage after the declaration of result of class XII has increased from 71.59% to 79.97% and in respect of Administration school, from 67.01% to 76.77%. On this, Police party of PS Chatham immediately rushed to the spot where they found that a man was drowning and struggling to find the shore which was about 25-30 mtrs away from the Chatham jetty. On seeing him, PC/1154 Gaius James of PS Chatham, immediately jumped into the sea and reached the victim and rescued him and saved his life who was immediately shifted to GB Pant Hospital and was admitted. The victim is now out of danger. Applications are invited from the eligible local female candidates for admission in the ANM/Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) Training Course for the academic year 2016-2018. Candidates desiring to under go the training course should apply in the prescribed format. The last date for submitting the application will be 25th November, 2016 by 4.00 pm. No application will be entertained after the due Date & Time. I. The Criteria for selection of candidates are:- 1. Selection of candidates for ANM/Multipurpose Health Worker done on the basis of the “Area wise merit” of class XII pass marks. “Area-wise” includes Rural as well as Urban areas. As such there is no separate seats reserved for candidates living below poverty line. 2. All other criteria laid down in the prescribed syllabus and regulations for ANM/MPHW by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. 3. Candidates possessing higher qualification do not get any extra weightage for determining the status of merit for selection in the ANM/MPHW (F) Course. II. Eligibility: 1. Female candidates only. 2. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December, 2016. 3. The maximum age shall be 30 years. III. Educational Qualification: 1.
