Why I became a teacher:Being a teacher is what I wanted to do for as long as I can remember.I had a great-aunt who was a teacher. I noticed the impact she had on so many people. That’s what I wanted to do. I would play school at home ALL the time. I would take any extra papers that my teacher had and have my dad make copies for me so that I could pass them out to my “pretend” students when I was playing school.
