Well those are all good reasons and there is one more…because you are each Very, Very Special and this is a zazen Water system and the water is also very very special as well.

I am going to tell you all about it today and we will work out how to care for the system and also how much zazen water you need to drink each day – so that you can feel great all day long How about that!long. How about that!

Introduction ..attention getter. Did you know you drink the SAME WATER AS THE DINOSAURS!

Take1 minute on this and have some fun.

Ask the children what they think and feel about this fact!

.. Does that sound a bit strange?

.. What does that make them think of…

Does it make you wonder what is in your drinking water if it is as OLD as a dinosaur?.. Does it make you wonder what is in your drinking water if it is as OLD as a dinosaur?

… Well we are going to explore how we can be drinking that SAME OLD water as the dinosaurs!

What type of dinosaurs were there? Are they all dead? How long ago did they live and die?

A long, long, long time ago .. Boy that means our water is really, really old too – boy it must be really valuable and precious if is that OLD don’t you think!be really valuable and precious if is that OLD don t you think!

65 million – 225 million years ago .. A long time.. They ruled for hundreds of millions of years –where did they go? They died and are now extinct! But the water is still here.. So lets explore WATER..

Who knows what these pictures are of?

So this is what the earth looks like from outer space.. And the right hand picture is what Australia looks like from outer space!

Isn’t it beautiful.

Can you see land and what else can you see.. What do you think this is.. The white puffy stuff … clouds yes clouds..

•Can you see all the blue colour? – What is that? A ”Water”

•Did you know that our Planet Earth is called the Blue Planet also because from space there is so much water it looks blue!

•So it looks like there is plenty of water on Earth doesn’t it!

•But most of the water is where looking at these pictures ??But most of the water is where looking at these pictures.. ??In the seas.. Can we drink that water? Why not.. Too salty for us.

•So we need special fresh water that is not so salty.. the dinosaurs didn’t drink the salty sea water either!

•So lets look at how we get our drinking water from and how much water you and I have in us.

That’s a lot of water.. So you are mostly water (use the terminology that the age group can understand – as many will not understand %).

So who can tell me where all that water is in our body?

Get answers – then guide them

The get them to physically touch and feel themselves and their eyes etc.

Get them to blink.. And stick out their tongue. Swallow..

Get them to pull their skin… water is everywhere! In your body

GET THEM TO BLOW ONTO A GLASS WINDOW ….

It’s all water…

Amazing isn’t it!

This is really important. You know you should be eating more fruit and veggies –and drinking more water .. Well did you know that WATER is the MOST IMPORTANT FOOD or Nutrient.

It is a healing food.. So an example of that is..

How many of you have had a headache? Well did you know If you get a y y y y gheadache the first thing you should do – is get a big glass of water and drink that because a lot of headaches happen because we are dry – or do not have enough water in our bodies.

Or if you feel tired during the day and start to yawn – that is another sign that you may be dry and need a big drink of water..

Your body gives you signs that you need to DRINK SOMEWATER.. So that it can keep you feeling happy and energised.

the zazen Water has natural ionised alkaline minerals in it – to aid with hydration – pure water does not hydrate at a cellular level.. And requires these electrolyte minerals to assist with absorption.

DID YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE WATER IN YOUR BODY…

How many of you have a car? Do you need to put petrol in the car for it to keep going.. Yes you do – well water is like a fuel for the body.. And we use it up just like you use up petrol in a car.. So how do we use it up?

Ask them to answer this..

Breathing – puff against a window or glass and show the moisture

Going to the toilet.. Pee and Poop – did you know that the colour of your pee (urine) can tell you a lot about how much water you need to drink?

If it is dark then you need more to drink – it should be very light in colour.

Ok well they all have some water in them don’t they – but it is also very important that you drink water too.

And guess What – You need to make sure you replace water with water!.. Because you are mostly water you are not milk or fanta or pineapple juice

Who knows what recycled means? This is a symbol you will see that tells you you can recycle it.

How many of you recycle some of your rubbish at home.. Like plastic bottles and y y y y pother things like news papers?

Why do we do this?

Because there are many things that we can use again so that we don’t have so much rubbish to get rid of which pollutes our earth and also so we don’t have to cut down more trees than necessary and use valuable resources from mother nature.

Well we will talk about how water is recycled by the zazen system by reading a very special story written for you.. Very soon

Lets find out how much water you NEED to drink each day.

Work out how much.. If you are 15kilos.. 20 kilos.. Put the How Much Should I drink A4 Poster up next to the zazen Living Water system.p g y

Ask the children to find out how much they weigh and next week they we will find out how much they need to drink each day.

Who is drinking that much water a day..

Well now you know – you can start to try.

At first if you haven't drunk much water – you will find that it takes a little while for your y y ybody to get used to it and you might find that you need to pee a bit more than usual.

But do you know what? Within a few weeks your body will start to use all that water up.. Its like a plant .. How many of you have seen a plant that has NOT been water very much.. The soil looks dry doesn’t it! Well when you pour water onto the soil of the plant –do you know what happens It runs straight out – because the ground is so dry.

But if you keep watering it soon the soil will soak all the water back up.. Well your body is the same.. It takes a little bit of time for it to get used to getting plenty of water But in

g g g p yno time you will find it will soak up most of the water you drink – especially on hot days and when you are very active exercising and running having fun.

So we have this to help each of you remember. And we will all learn new healthy water routines and habitsroutines and habits.

Now you need to make sure you are drinking plenty of water during the day. You should try to drink this much during the day..

Did you know that you should have a drink of water when you 1st get up in the morning. itDid you know that you should have a drink of water when you 1 get up in the morning. it helps the body clean out a lot of stuff that gathers in our bodies overnight.. and because it has been a long time since we went to sleep and had a drink of water..

It’s a bit like cleaning our teeth.. when you wake up in the morning you have smelly breath because stuff builds up and starts to rot in your mouth.. the same is true in your body – so you need plenty of water to help wash it clean from the inside out!

Ok – the other thing we need to do is look after our new system and keep it fill with tap water and also make sure that we are each drinking regularly during the day..day..

Go through the chart with them..get the teacher to agree to set up monitors for looking after the system and put that on the wall each week and month.

Make sure they have access to a bucket and a tap close by.

So we have this to help each of you remember. And we will all learn new healthy water routines and habitswater routines and habits.

And finally – when you get your water from the zazen system you should say thank you.

Lets look at what water crystals looks like when we say thank you… and when we say you fool! Can you see the difference – which crystal is happy and which one is sad?
