1.Objective

GENERAL GUIDE

1. Objective

To provide to the society, English courses and excellent care services, with specialized professionals in the area of English, French, German, Callan Method, so those, students can meet the challenges of today's global competitiveness.

To be recognized as a school of English courses with superior, more attentive staff, the most qualified instructors, the most affordable fees, methodologies, materials and equipment of more innovative teaching.

Through continuous evaluation, we aim to exceed the expectations of our students and potential students to build a reputation that will transcend generations.

To:

Help all students learn English 100%.

Provide excellent courses.

Keep accessible to the community fees.

At the beginning of the near year we have to take into account some guidelines.

General guidelines in order to help and remain our teachers about to increase our organization and to improve our communication between us and the administration besides in this way will be better improving students’ conditions.

1.- Open the Academy:

Time to open the entrance hall door at 15:53 p.m.

One of the teachers opens the barrier to entry.

2.- Classes Timetable:

Starting and finish classes punctually.

Finish classes: the bell rings 3 minutes before to remind to the teachers the class will finish on time and not before it.

3.- Classes over:

The first teacher is followed by her group opens the barrier to go out and this will be opened until the bells rings and other teacher closes it.

Most of the time students when they leave the classes some of them run, make noise and this can cause any damages and/or disturbances apart from showing disorganization in the corridor of the centre.

Now in advance:

Students’ groups from 4 to 12 years old must follow their teachers to the entrance hall in this way keep the order and they don’t run and avoid accidents /incidents.

4.-Bathrooms

Teacher warms her students if they remain closed in the bathroom they must press the alarm button.

Tell students to keep the bathrooms cleaned.

After the student returns to the bath asks if everything is in order.

5.-Students list of attendance:

If a teacher has a student in her class and he/she isn’t in the list ,the teacher must immediately communicates the administration. (Secretary)

The Secretary will include the name of the pupil in the list or she asks the teacher to do it.

If the teacher has any doubts about the level of the student in this class or would like to change any student communicates to the Programmer coordinator who will be in contact to the administration to solve the problem.

7.- Material:

All teachers will be responsible for their books and materials that are given at the beginning of the course. They should be returned at the end of the course.

All the material you need like: (glues, pens, folders etc… Ask (Teacher in charge).

The information sheets:

The teachers will pick the informative sheets up only the necessary quantity for every hour to distribute with his/her pupils.

8.- In case a teacher can’t give his/her class because is ill or another situation. Follow the procedure:

Call the administration (The director )

Teacher´s absences.

Call the Coordinator in order to know what you like to do with your class it means if any change has in the planning because you will not give your class.

9.- Missing Classes. (Children)

If a student misses class 3 times asks the student’s phone the secretary or be in contact to know the problem.

10.- Healthy problems:

Students don’t feel very well. Depends of the situation call parents.

Students hurt themselves, nose bleeding etc… Ask :to whom it concerns.

11.- ADULT’S CLASSES (CALLAN /FCE/CAE/CPE)

Missing Classes:

If a student misses class 3 times asks the student’s phone to the secretary or send an email to be in contact to know the problem.

Visitor:

Administration /Secretary will tell the teacher the name and the class he/she is going to visit.

If the visitor comes after 20.00pm.To give him/her the registration sheet or any more information. Coordinator

12.-Tell students they can buy in the School 15 Euros or could download the ebook from callan.uk.co and the school code.

Give up school.

13.-If the student wants to leave the school tell them to tell the Administration-Secretary .

Talk with our students how they feel in class if everything is all right.

Organization.

Teachers should clean their rooms after the children’s classes.

Cupboard of the teachers’ room keep organized.

Keep the table’s on the teachers’ room clean.

Teachers have to use the books from the teachers’ room and tell your partner he/she has the book then returns them to the same place.

Copies that are wrong taken do not have to be left on the table in the teachers’ room, but put them into the bin to recycle them.

Photocopy machine:

14.-Teachers take care and look if the photocopy machine needs paper in order to help yourself and everyone.

Cambridge exams:

Teachers give the Administration-Secretary, the students’ authorizations to bring their Cambridge Diploma to the Academy.

Students registration always given to the Secretary (2 days before the Cambridge period).

All Wednesdays once a month. At 14:00.

Suggestion sheet will be on the table in the teachers’ room 3 days before the meeting in order all the teachers writing their suggestions.

2.-TEACHER’S MEETINGS:

Goal:

We need to work as a team, to respect each other opinion and work, to make our meetings interesting offer input to solve problems or address issues in a fast conclusion,also to share material.

3-Meetings Procedure.

The teachers’ meetings programme is made and given to the teachers in June, although we need to organize together the order with them that will be done in the third meeting of the next course apart from this 4 days before each meeting the suggestion’s sheet is on the table in the teacher’s room in order all the teachers given their suggestions.

Chairperson.

Two days before the meeting makes the agenda of the meeting to give to each teacher before it.

Control the time, keep order and guide the discussion.

Minutes:

This Teacher needs to send to the other teachers the minutes in three days.

Workshops.

All the teachers show their ideas and participate.

Objectives, each term assessment, marks will be done in the meetings.

Final decisions:

If the teachers don’t reach a common conclusion, they will vote although the final decision is decided by the director (Xabier) take into account what the teachers decided in the meeting.

-Our work is difficult many times we deal with many personalities,their doubts and styles of learning in a class, some students will advance quickly while others not. We need to identify individual needs and to address them throughout the year and the best ways are: working in our planning’s lessons carefully by using different techniques to help our students, our creativity and constantly studying and being up to date to get our goals.-Share our knowledge and activities with our team and learn their ideas as well.

The teachers’ planning should be given from 15 in 15 days.

The school project with dates and the division units for each level will be given during the first teachers’ meeting.

List of the readers will be given too.

Follow the program me and all the Extra activities must be done in each term.

There will be individual meetings with both Co ordinators three times per term or more if it is necessary. (Tell problems and doubts if you have with the program and students, suggestions etc..)

Cambridge Exam-List of Cambridge registration will be given + List of the period of British Registration to remind teachers.(2 days before the Cambridge period).

OBJECTIVES

To:

Use computers as a tool in the teaching-learning process, using it actively by students.

Encourage the use of information technology, facilitating access to this tool by students as a means of supporting and reinforcing their learning.

Encouraging its use by teachers in their regular work of the Centre. Schedules, reports, plans, circulars, regulations, activities, etc..

Easily search for information and critical treatment of it as a way to know the world of Internet and their access to useful information.

Objectives for students: Use programs and environments that facilitate learning in the content area:

Enhance communication. Waking the interest in knowing different things.

accurate information.

Enhance your reasoning and your thirst for knowledge.

Using the computer as a means of research to expand knowledge and develop small projects individually and / or collectively.

Using the computer as a means of creation, integration, cooperation, empowerment of social values and expression of the ideas of each.

Objectives for teachers: Integrating New technologies as a means of improving the teaching

through the use of leverage information that they can get, and to improve the approach.

Teaching through use.

Enhance communication with the family of the students and their environment: fact sheets, Web pages, e-mail, in which the centre and its educational disclosed.

Increase the use of new technologies in order to unify all documents and communication centre of incidents or simply as a means of communication alive and active.

Equipment Maintenance: Keeping part of failures to inform the technician.

Develop common projects around the centre involving the use of ICT.

Trained in the use of programs that result in the creation of their own learning materials to use by all teachers.

Improve activities designed and decided in the planning.

Plan Integration including ICT material, view programs, and other activities.

Organization of students

For work or research projects will be enhanced work in small groups (4-5 maximum), which is for students / as the implementation skills of cooperation and teamwork, essential for shared learning.

Instilling the educational use of the computer involves working, learning, activity, fun and effort.

Not only play.

Perform activities tailored to students, and in which each activity can develop according to their level, their learning rates and if possible their skills.

Foster care attitudes material, care of the computers and furniture.

Itemize: where to start use computers, how to get started in using the mouse and keyboard to enter, where to start instilling job autonomy Computer

(start, start a program, close it, turn off the computer ...).

Accustom them from the beginning to respect the material, to collect and organize the classroom at the end.

Perform some notation: what have we done, interesting aspects, modifications for next year or the next day, problems have arisen, comments...

Learn its applications in everyday life: leisure and gambling business, creative and design, education and knowledge, etc..

Assist in the development of basic skills: reading, reading comprehension, listening, writing-expression

Each period goals by presenting a survey suggested valuation of the Plan by the various sectors: teachers, families and students.

The issues identified will involve improving the design of small plans of action for the next year, they will try remedying deficiencies.

Amendments.

Once tested positively Action Plans carried out to improve the information will be updated.

Presentation in class.

Continuous feedback with Co ordinations.-
