“Computers are really good at allowing you to manipulate text, and can be a great repository of examples of text for all sorts of purposes.”

“You can return easily to previously viewed pages.”

“You can search for words or phrases and find them in the whole text instantly.”

“You can also often interact with the e-book by annotating it, book-marking a particular piece of text, or highlighting words, sentences, or whole passages.”

“Text can be read to you.”

How will students react?

The student looks at the screen while it reads aloud. It will also highlight the words as it is spoken.
