• Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

• Romans 10:17, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

• James 3:1, “Not many of you should become teachers … for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.”

• Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

VISUAL

• Visual learners rely on pictures. • They process information best when it is

visually illustrated or demonstrated. • They love graphs, diagrams and

illustrations. • “Show me” is their motto. • You can best teach them by providing

handouts, writing on the board and using phrases like, “Do you see how this works?”

• Their motto is “Let me do it.” • They trust their feelings and emotions about what

they are learning and how you are teaching it. • They want to actually touch what they are learning.

• You can best teach them by involving volunteers,

allowing them to practice what they are learning, and using phrases like, “How do you feel about that?”
