The principles of Teaching Vocabulary

1. Introduce about the material, in order to the students can improve their knowledge about the material and

familiar with the context.

2. The position of students’ desk are semicircle, it is easily the teacher delivered the material and all of the

students can more understand about the context and also there is no long space between the teacher and students

to make feel comfortable.

3. Every student show their name above the chair, it is easily the teacher to know who name’s students are.

4. Teacher gives an example pictures and students have to answer it.

5. The teacher uses some terms that can help students focus on the context and produce language better, such as; syllable or stress the term that students can control pronoun quickly and correct the error that student produced.

It means that teacher wants to find out student thinking te context about the material (Job Duties) and try to get information what they know and do not with vocabulary. That is also a little bit english

test and can help she assess students’ ability. Finally, it is bringing students’ experience and

knowledge in the wolrd into the classroom and it is the first foundation to learn the material.

•6. In usual proggresive of teaching english, The teacher presented the material / information, give the chance to practice to students and their repeat it.

It means in presented steps, the teacher can assess what they feel (understand) the material.

• 7. In this method is teaching of vocabulary, where teacher talked and presented then students repeat and teacher gives some minutes to go back to locate the word and see wheter they could remind how to pronounce it or not.

It means that teacher becomes a facilitators to students in order to the students get the sense to be independent learners.

8. Then teacher makes some of group that each of group consist of two persons. She wants to make their stay to focus on the task and improve their ability. In a group the teacher would know how they finish the task quickly.

9. In process of grouping, Teacher give reinforcement to students who can answer the question and control each of groups where She tand up behind the students listen and help the group who has a little bit difficulties about the materials.

10. Finally,Teacher continous the activity with other exercise, such as:

Teacher helps their to remember new vocabulary,

but before the students know about the activity, She

chooses two persons to read the conversation aloud to

know their level activity as a model in the activity.

The teacher also overlearning strategy

showing how to make a card with remember new word. Finally, before do it, She

asks students to write down one duty. It is like

performence that it takes place at home, etc. (She

gives an examples about her job duties at home as mother

and as a teacher in the school).

Then the teacher gives time to discuss and explore about

their experience (Job Duties) in group.

Every groups consist of two persons in which they will change based on teacher’s instruction. It is used for

helping students to be energized group, creating

essential classroom community, decreasing

everyone feel alone in the classroom and giving

opportunities to get the difference background

langage/ acsent in each group.
