Medical device firm specializing in cardio-vascular treatment chose Cleveland to bring 25 new jobs and more than $1.5 million in new annual payroll after devel-oping a relationship with BioEnterprise, GCIC and Team NEO.

Galway, Ireland innovator of surgical products set up its US Headquarters in Cleveland to enjoy collaborations with leading institutions, including Case Western Reserve, the Cleveland Clinic and the GCIC. Company is expected to bring 26 new jobs and $1.8 million in new annual payroll.

Canadian Injection Molding manufac-turer serving industrial and retail markets opened its US manufacturing and distribution facility in Austinville to bring 19 new jobs and $450,000 annual payroll to Northeast Ohio.

California-based Business Process Out-sourcer with intent to open call center in Richfield that will employ 400 individuals to serve Fortune 500 clients.

Medical device manufacturer of real-time image guided ratiation therapy systems moved its HQ from Florida to Cleveland, and will bring 90 new jobs and more than $6 million in incremental annual payroll to the region.

California-based global pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and biotechnical firm acquired USB, then opened their Research and Development center, bringing 61 new jobs and $3 million in new, annual payroll to Northeast Ohio.

Privately-held Oregon-based medical device firm opened a Cleveland office to collaborate with the Cleveland Clinic and access Ohio biomedical resources. Company received GCIC grant, afforded by Ohio’s Third Frontier Program and has intent to employ 15 people with $900,000 total new annual payroll.

A German recycling equipment manu-facturer opened a sales and repair facili-ty in Avon in December 2008, bringing $250,000 in new annual payroll to Northeast Ohio. The company plans a future manufacturing facility expansion.

GTP Travel Group, an online resource for group and meeting travel, located its headquarters in Twinsburg, bringing 25 IT jobs and $1.75 million in new annual payroll to Northeast Ohio.

Global medical imaging company moved its HQ from New Jersey to Cleveland because of the region’s strong imaging cluster. The company expects to employ 30 people and bring $2 million in new annual payroll to Northeast Ohio.
