January 23, 2019: Clients from ForeePay Pakistan, Habib Bank Limited, Ingram Micro Pakistan, and Soneri Bank Limited have attended a one day comprehensive workshop on "Storage Information Security" at TLC office in Karachi. In a nut sell, two criteria can help determine the effectiveness of a storage security methodology were presented in detail focusing on ISO/IEC27040, understand and implement SNIA best practices based on snapshot, continuous data protection, data replication and data encryption services . First, the cost of implementing the system should be a small fraction of the value of the protected data. Second, it should cost a potential hacker more, in terms of money and/or time, to compromise the system than the protected data is worth.

workshop that is designed to familiarize you and your team with the fundamental knowledge for creating digital transformation strategy and frameworks you will need to develop enterprise architecture. You will be able to use the Architecture Framework to identify key architecture framework components—data, function, technology and people. You will learn to use the Business Framework to identify what business information needs to be collected, strategies for collecting the information and approaches for organizing it.

Enterprise architecture and Digital transformation is a hot topic but what exactly is it and what does it mean for different organization? In this session, we talk about digital transformation in two ways. First we discuss the pace of change and the imperative it creates for businesses. Next we provide the context for this transformation and what it takes to win in the digital age by solving your problems.

Karachi Electric have invested in Phenix Technologies opting three BK-130 AC HIPOTJanuary 15, 2019: Installed, commissioned & provided comprehensive on-site training to K-Electric, Korangi Grid Station, Qayyumabad on PHENIX TECHNOLOGIES, model No. BK-130 AC Hipot.

K-Electric will use this technology for testing power, distribution and pole-mounted transformers, high voltage transmission lines and other applications involving high voltage testing for their installed based in Karachi.
