A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL FOOTBALL TALENT Our FAS Vice President Bernard Tan believes in a bottom up approach to managing local football. Recently, he met up with various stakeholders such as SportsSG and Republic Polytechnic as well as former National stalwarts like Goh Tat Chuan and Razali Saad to facilitate a better understanding of the needs and requirements from a community grassroots level. Notwith standing the fact that issues such as Education and National Service are real and apparent and have to be constantly weaved into the context of challenges faced in the development of an elite footballer.
