2 – Cupboard / Filing Cabinets (02 NOS)



1 Overall Dimension: 1200 W x 450 D x 750 H mm

2 Entire structure made up of 5 core 16 mm calibrated Plywood having ISI grade having gunjan wood a top face. Laminate to be pasted by hydraulic hot press mechanism with application of SWR+ grade glue.

3 All edges finished with glued - on polypropylene edge bands with corner and edge rounding, enabling zero sharp elements environment. Edge band shall be 2.0 mm from Rehau or equivalent brand.

4 Individual lock on both the shutters and drawers. Each drawer and shutter shall have SS profile handles.

5 Base shall have basic straight skirting. Hardware - Ebco, Hafele, Hettich or equivalent

3 - Racks for Books (Two Bay, Single Sided Shelving with End Panels and Movable Book Supports) (02 NOS)

Single Sided Open Shelving unit assembled from Post of 2100 mm H made in 2mm thick 70 x 30 mm tube punch fitted in a special reinforced having a 30 mm UNF nut on adjustable nylon level adjuster having loading capacity of 150 Kgs.

Each posts to contain six flat shelves of 300 mm depth made in 1.2 mm thick CR sheet with a raised lip at the rear of each shelf and also with ‘C’ channel on front so that each shelf can be fitted perfectly in clips of the brackets of 1.8 mm thickness in CR without any screw, weld or nut features. Assembly of each shelf should be at minimum 300 mm from other. Both sides Shelves must be having height adjustment feature on clips of brackets.

All the post should be manufactured in a way that it can be accommodated with Spine out display shelves. Powder coating of all the metal units must be of 70 micron 7 tank process with oven baking powder coated from Nerocoat/azkonobel/ vptone or equivalent. The minimum factor of safety considered is 1.65 on yield stress. The allowable deflection will be limited to span/200. The primary supplier for the raw material should be Essar Steel Ltd, Tata Steels or equivalent.

End Panels to be made up of16 mm calibrated ply with ISI grade mark. Both side laminated with 1.00 mm approved laminate, colour matching to running colour Scheme. All edges finished with glued - on polypropylene edge bands with corner and edge rounding, enabling zero sharp elements environment.

T profile groove should have 8 mm opening and 28 mm back closing grouted along the width of 18 mm MR Grade Plywood. Grooving is to be done by CNC (Computer Numeric Control) Router Machine. All the slats must consist to one ‘U’ type display in 3 mm thick laser cut acrylic display for signage as well as for hanging the books. Acrylic Display shall have softening temperature approx. 102 °C / 216 °F and insoluble in water.

Internal structure made up of 16 gauge 25 x 50mm MS rectangular tube , which has 6 shelves of 16 gauge MS CR sheet. The partitions on each shelf are of 5mm MS rod. All the metallic components are powder coated ( 70 micron ) with seven tank process. Appliance castors are provided for smooth functioning of the product.

Technical Terms & Conditions: To be read with item specific specifications provided with each item.

Laminate: 1.00 mm Approved Laminate which should meet following specifications: Resistance to surface wear shall be > 400 (revolutions), Resistance to water immersion in boiling water: mass increase 10.0% (Max) Thickness increase 7.0% (Max). Resistance to impact by small diameter ball 25N (Min), Resistance to scratching 3 N (Min). Shall pass following test Specified as per IS: 2046-1995. Resistance to colour change 1. In Xenon ARC Light 2. Enclosed ARC Carbon Light. Resistance to steam, cigarette burn, cracking, staining.

Laminate should be of reputed brand like - Formica, Green lam or any other equivalent make approved by department.

3. Steel Hardware: All hardware shall be of ss 304, make: Kitch / ozone/ ebco/ Hettich / hafele or any other equivalent make approved by department.

Steel Furniture: Minimum 18 gauge of CRC steel or

any other as specified in specifications of item

4. Colour: Vendor shall provide three or four color combinations for the items after placement of Purchase order. SAC shall decide on the final color combination.

5. All sliding channels should be telescopic. 6. Fabric upholstery: Commercial Grade fabric made

up of 100% polyester, having GSM of 300 or more with abrasion resistance >= 20000 counts and colour fastness at scale 4..

7. Samples of items, as detailed in vendor evaluation criteria should be submitted as per the design and specifications as part of technical bid.

8. Outline drawing / photograph for reference only. Final product should be matching to the specifications provided.

9. Vendor should provide compliance/non-compliance in detail with information for each item above. Without above information; quotation of that vendor will not be considered. Post Facto responses will not be considered.

Vendor Evaluation Criteria

Chair (Sl No. 3 & 8 of the item list) should be submitted as part of technical bid (on or before the last date for bid submission). These samples of finished items will be returned after purchase order is placed. The samples of item of the vendor with whom P.O. is placed will be kept with SAC and will be matched with delivered items. Vendor has to bear all expenses, and no claims for conveyance / damages etc. shall be entertained by SAC.

If required, Technical Evaluation Committee of SAC

may visit the workshop / factory for technical qualification of offers.

Qualitative assessment of SAC shall be final and

binding. No correspondence/clarification shall be issued in this regard.

Vendor has to ensure that the final products should

strictly be made of technically qualified raw materials, whose samples were submitted and should match the design and specifications with proper finishing. If required SAC may ask for third party certification for quality of material used.

Any deviation to above condition or discrepancy in artisanship or finishing noticed even in pre-dispatch inspection may lead to cancellation of order without any financial implication on SAC.

IMPORTANT

Vendor should provide compliance/non-compliance in detail with information for each item described above in Part-B and terms and conditions in Part-C (incorporating all relevant drawings, photos, data sheets, and other supporting documents with sealed and signed copy of this technical bid template). Without above information, quotation of that vender will not be considered. Post Facto responses will not be considered.
