Dear parents, it is a great pleasure to pen a few words about my experience as an educator in TIGPS, Siliguri campus. I am fortunate to be associated with the school education system for the last 38 years. Techno India has

always extended all necessary support to students willing to do well in scholastic and co-scholastic fields. TIG stands committed to go for inclusive education. TIG schools provide platforms to students to showcase their talents when Uttarbanga Medha Ratna Utsav, Winter Festival, Annual Sports Meet, Children’s Day, Rabindra Jayanti, Independence Day, Republic Day and Saraswati Puja are celebrated. The spirit of TIGPIANs is to conquer the world wherever they go. The provision for integrated school coaching system has been made available for students willing to write competitive entrance exams and the success rate is very high. Young souls get transformed into fully blossomed flowers ready to spread fragrance in the society. TIGPIANs are a brand now. We teach our students to value the spirit of social service. TIGPS Siliguri has adopted the social project Aveelasha – under this banner, we alongwith our students are committed to share everything with our under-privileged brothers and sisters. Our students work for fund-raising for HelpAge India. Our students organise Science Fair, Book Fair, Art Exhibition, and prepare and present Science Projects at North Bengal Science Centre frequently and attend lecture sessions of renowned scientists, as well as they are winning the best science project prizes too. UNDER 17 BOYS' CHAMPIONSHIPTIGPS Siliguri emerged winner scoring 3-0 in the Under-17 Boy’s Category Championship. Kaushalya World School, Noida (Delhi NCR) was the host school. The match was

between TIGPS and DPS Sonipat. In the Under-19 Boys Individuals, Samrat Chakraborty became 2nd Runners-Up, in the Under-14 Boys’ Mix Doubles category, Soumyadeep Neogi became 2nd Runners--Up, and in the Under-19 Girls’ Mix Doubles, Shreya Bagchi became 2nd Runners-Up.

Terrific Taekwondo

Students secured 8 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 7 bronze medals in different categories in the 15th National ITF Taekwondo Championship in Goa.

TIGPS Siliguri has completed one decade in the field of imparting quality education. It recognizes and ignites hidden potentials of young minds and provides a congenial learning atmosphere in both scholastic

and co-scholastic fields. Smart classrooms, well-equipped labs and activity rooms are the distinctive features of our school. Room for music, dance, yoga and libraries are places of attraction for students. The competent school faculty guides the students to achieve excellence. Extra classes are conducted for students who are going to appear for boards. Students enroll themselves in different competitive exams like VVM, IAMPT, Joint Entrance exams. A special team of faculties cater to the needs of senior students participating in competitive entrance exams. In co--scholastic field, we train our students in Football, TT, Taekwondo, Athletics, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball. There are expert coaches for special training session. Celebrity mentors like Dona Ganguly, Bratati Bandopadhyay and Srabani Sen visit our school to conduct workshops on elocution, music and dance.
