Fueling Entrepreneurship, The Engine of America’s Economy
WHAT IS TECHNOLAGY TECHFEST?A groundbreaking 3-day science & technology festival where domestic and international companies showcase and launch their innovative products and services. Engineers, IT, scientists, investors, and entrepreneurs will also have opportunities to immerse themselves in a truly collaborative environment for technological advancement and innovation. Engaging activities include: Wireless communication and mobile computing, robotics, nano-technology, bio-technology, alternative energy, artificial intelligence, wireless energy, mobile apps, high-tech manufacturing, game development, quantum computing, innovation leadership, and drone technology.
The New Orleans Technolagy TechFest 2013, in conjunction with the University of New Orleans and local authorities, will provide a unique opportunity for participants to interact with professionals across a wide range of disciplines. The TechFest includes corporate members involved in innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the design, development, manufacturing, distribution, and integration of consumer technology products. In addition, the event connects enterprising students with mentors from academia and the business community as well as investors.
Technolagy TechFest is owned and produced by LEDA Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, with a purpose of promoting innovation entrepreneurship education as well as growth and development in the consumer technology industry in the region. The goal of the TechFest is to create a collaborative environment where different groups of
professionals, such as scientists, engineers, IT experts, academic institutions, entrepreneurs, and investors, can learn and share latest works, innovative ideas, and business opportunities. Furthermore, the TechFest will help to promote workforce and development and to showcase intellectual capital in the region. This unique initiative will elevate innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth to a more integral part of our economy.
