Using the apple mac and Final Cut Pro was a major part of this project, as I regularly used the technologies to construct my product. I had never used Final Cut Pro before and had only minimally used an

Apple Mac before, therefore I needed assistance when beginning using these technologies but after I had become used to the

programmes, I became more comfortable with using the devices and began to develop skills. Final cut pro enabled me to upload video

footage I had previously recorded on my camera, and edit the footage using the trimming tool. As well as manipulating the moving image by timing effects such as retime and adjusting the speed of the

footage. This allowed me to fit the footage I had produced to my song and allowed me to manipulate it to how I thought best.

However, I did experience a few technical difficulties whilst using the programmes. For instance, some of my footage said it was not

accessible or compatible with the programme and thus I could not upload it. However I just had to make sure I converted the files

into .mov files so they would work on the system.

One of the most common websites and media I used throughout the process of creating my products was Blogger. I

used this website programme to display all of my research planning and evaluation process online, so that it was easily

accessible. I found the use of technology really easy to use as I had already used it the previous year during my AS foundation portfolio, thus I was already comfortable with the programme.

Another social media site that I used regularly was YouTube. This was a vital programme in

uploading not only my final music video but it allowed me to upload videos of my audience

feedback as well. However, it was also vital in my research and planning of existing music videos

to help me gain inspiration. The statistics I gained from my music videos as well helped me

with my evaluation.
