Since 2008, I became familiar with using our Universities Moodle. It was very convenient for myself as a student to get online, submit assignments, check grading status and attendance. I would recommend to add a newsletter in the beginning of Moodle so that students may browse and become informed about the schools changes.

Overall, Firefox is the second frequently used internet browser in the world. For the most part, I prefer to use Firefox because of its security level when downloading browsed pages. I feel much safer when using Firefox. Mozilla should intend to change the format so viewers are enthusiastic.

Google is a very broad website used for internet searching and for most, business advertisement. I love the applications Google offers. It is convenient and user friendly. Google also contains themes pertaining to seasonal issues. I enjoy using Google, I utilize the search engine consistently. You can find what your looking for with just a type of one heading.

Slideshare is an awesome tool. It uploads and shares personal presentations and documents. It allows you to restore valuable items online. You can edit, replace, and advertise your specific content. It is user friendly. I was introduced to slideshare through taking Applications of Technology with Dr. J. Cyrus in Fall 2010.

Many students and teachers can use voice thread for conversations during presentations. You don’t have to install any software to utilize voice thread. You are allowed to upload documents, presentations, videos and images. It allows the user to include voice over conversations, narration, or comments into the slides you wish to edit them in. I enjoyed using VoiceThread , however, it wasn’t easy to operate. Users may need more than one try to feel comfortable with Voice Thread.

Prezi is successful if you allow yourself to get out of the box and explore the content. It is difficult and not user friendly. It may, perhaps be the most awesome presentation editor, but it’s applications are difficult to use. Personally, I couldn’t operate Prezi overnight. I experienced other groups using Prezi for their presentation and it was not successful. It was really slow because the use of the internet was not up to par. It took forever to download their nicely,edited slide but it lost my attention.

I love the idea of webbing ideas. I enjoy mapping and adding visualizations to my documents. Spicy Nodes allows you to change edit content and sparkle your editing. It is user friendly. But I rated this 4 out of 5 due to the use of limitations like adding voice over to certain webs.

Students need to organize their documents, work and bookmarks. By saving your favorite sites on your Delicious account, you can get to them anytime of the day. It is convenient, almost like taking around a portable Bookmark. You can browse sites you stored but could not physically get to. Users are allowed to share bookmarks with the world.
