Another Season has come to a quiet, rost delayed end. I would like to thankall our Members and Public golers ormaking this year a busy one. Even withall the rain this year everyone still cameout to the Dunes in good spirits andthat made this year enjoyable.
I would like to take this time to thankJackie, Leanne and Rhona or all theirhard work on our host tournaments thisyear. With new blood and new sponsorsall o this years Dunes events were asuccess.
From Opening day, to the above men-tioned rosty end the course looked andplayed great. My thanks to Shelly, Brianand all the maintenance crew or alltheir hard work. Especially during therainy weeks. A lot o water was pumped
by a hard working crew.
The Marshalls and the Backshoppershelped keep the course runningsmoothly again this season. My thanksto them or all their help. They quietlydo their jobs well and make my job somuch easier. I look orward to havingthem all back next season.
The Pro Shop had a lot o new aces thisyear. Adam, Mike, Peter, Eric, Kyle andMckenzie all got their rookie seasonunder their belts. I big thank you toAlex, Zac and Meagan or helping trainthe new crew. They all worked hard andwe had a ew laughs along the way. My
best to all o those that are back inschool and to those who returned totheir real jobs or the winter.
The Pro Shop is open or all your Christ-mas needs or i you just want to stop byand say hello.
As usual, I know you are waiting or mygol game update rom the season. Itwas a better year, except or that 99 rstround in the Mens Open. The 99 wasntso bad as the 82 in the second roundwhich drew many chants o sandbagger.
I can assure you I worked much hardershooting 99 then I did 82.
All the best or the holidays. Stay warm, drive sae and eat lots. I know you are allhappy my hockey team is back so I willnish with GO JETS!

Food & Beverage
Looking back, this past gol seasonseems like a bit o a blur. I never man-aged to get out or as many rounds as Ihad dreamt o, but I did manage to seemost areas o the gol course at least acouple times. There were many experi-ences and challenges this year that I willbe able to draw upon or knowledge in
seasons to come. I am already lookingorward to the next gol season, and
nd mysel growing jealous oanyone reading this letter in
the warmersouthern cli-
mates. I justmight have
to make atrip
somewhere this of season to make suremy clubs still work. However, as an avidsnowboarder, I am also looking orwardto the light ufy stuf.
As we all know, the holiday season isjust around the corner. The holiday sea-son means diferent things to diferent
people. For me it is a time to spend withriends and amily. Whether it be seeingamily members who I dont see otenenough, or catching up with highschool riends who now live in diferentcities. The holiday season is about holi-day cheer. This holiday season, I hopeeveryone has the opportunity to eat, drink and be merry. I know I will.

Maintenance
Tis the season to reect on the yearpast. For us in maintenance it was awonderul season with many goodthings, with only a ew less then desir-able events. All the rain this season deantly presented us with challengesBut at the same time we learned a greatdeal about our drainage systems, as wel
as provided us with plenty o water orour irrigation pond.
We were certainly spoiled this year, withthe arrival o several pieces o newequipment, making our jobs aster andmore ecient. This year also gave us anew irrigation system, which wasneeded and denitely appreciated! Notsure how many noticed, but we hadvery ew irrigation breaks this year, nowthat is something to be grateul or! Wewould also like to thank all o our dedi-cated, hardworking staf. You know who
you are!
The gol course is ready or winter, withour irrigation lines empty and ourgreens put to bed. Lets hope its a mildwinter with average snowall. We wouldlike to wish everyone a sae and happyholiday season. See you all next year!
