Wednesday, June 22 @ 3:00 pm—Metal Stamped Jewelry It’s time to pound out your frustrations­­and make something beautiful out of it! Come make a permanent mark with us. Join us to make tiny hats similar to the Mad Hatter’s maddest creations. Program for youth in grades 6­12. Also at Southside. Saturday, July 23 @ 5:30­7:30 pm—Teen Lock­In (Participation waiver required) Come to the end­of­summer­reading Teen Lock­In! There will be a costume contest, food, games, and much more. Clemmons Branch (continued) 703­2920 Monday June 27 @ 2:00 pm—WFU Museum of Anthropology presents “Symbols of Strength” Using cloth and other objects from MOA’s collections, teens will get to look at and study West African Adinkra Symbols, which are used for strength, protection, and well being. Teens will then create and decorate tiles using Adinkra symbols. For rising 6th­12th graders. Registration is required, as space is limited; Call to register.
