Facebook     In  2004,  Mark  Zuckerberg,  Dus4n  Moskovitz  and  Chris  Hughes   -­‐   three  Harvard  University   students   -­‐   launched   a  website   designed   to   put   students   in   touch   with   each  other,   to   share   their  photos  and  meet  new  people.  They  called   it   facebook.com,   and   then   the   site   became  extremely   popular   on   the   campus   of   Harvard.   A   month  aJer   its   release,   the   creators   expanded   it   to   include  students   from     Stanford,   Columbia   and   Yale.   In   2005,  students   at   800   university   networks   throughout   the  United  States  could  join  the  network,  and  its  membership  grew  to  over  5  milion  ac4ve  users.  In  August  of  that  year,  the  name  of  the  site  changed  to  Facebook.

   The  conversa4on  is  very  good,  you  can  speak  with  people  from  another  countries,  for  example:  I’m  in  Brazil  and  my  friend  in  the  USA.      You  can  like  and  dislike  the  comments  and  share  and  uploads  photos  with  your  friends  and  you  talk  to  your  friends  using  a  WebCam.

   Glee  is  a  musical  television  series  ,  about  everyday  situa8ons  at  school  .      The  main  subject  of  the  series  is  the  Glee  Club  ,  the  school  choir  called  “News  

Direc8ons”.      The  group    try  to  win  compe88ons  in  the  corridors  of  the  school,  go  through  

situa8ons    related  to  rela8onship  and  social  issues.  We  think  it  is  very  nice  ,  because  it  talks  about  bullying  at  school  and    teaches  

how  you  can    face  your  own  problems  .

Rise Against

CM:  When  did  you  start  the  band?  Rise   Against:   We   started   the   band   in   1999,   in  

Chicago.   We   are   Tim   McLrath,   Zach   Blair,   Joe  Principe,  Brandon  Barnes.  

 CM:  How  many  albums  have  you  released?  Rise  Against:  We  have  released  six  albums.    CM:  What  type  of  music  do  you  play?  Rise  Against:  We  play    Punk  and  Rock.    

CM: Can you tell us about your Anti-Bullying campaign?

Rise Against: We started a campaign in March 2011 to encourage our fans to fight against bullying. We released our sixth album Endgame where you can find the song Make It Stop (September’s Children). It’s an anti-bullying song.

The  Pacaembu  Stadium  is  an  example  of  the  mul4faceted  scenery  in  Sao  Paulo.  It  also  houses  the  Museum  of  Football,  the  only  of  its  kind  worldwide.  

             *  Zoo  With  annual  visita4on  of  approximately  1.6  million  people,  the  site  offers  guided  tours  to  the  public,  courses  for  teachers  and  didac4c  presenta4ons  about  animals,  among  other  aspects  of  environmental  conserva4on.    *Museum  of  the  Portuguese  language  Interac4vity  and  technology  to  present  the  contents  are  the  differen4als  of  one  of  the  most  visited  museums  in  Brazil.  The  collec4on  is  displayed  in  an  innova4ve  and  unusual  way.    

                 *Ibirapuera  Park  When  walking  there  you  can  choose  between  its  many  a]rac4ons,  including  the  Museum  of  Modern  Art  (MAM),  the  Pavilion,  the  Hollow,  the  Japanese  Pavilion,  the  Planetarium  and  Nursery.  In  addi4on  there  are  several  areas  for  physical  ac4vi4es,  cycling  lanes,  playgrounds  and  13  blocks.  And  the  input  of  dogs  is  allowed.
