Step 1:Connect to your device using the default Wireless SSID of your router, indicated on a sticker below your Huawei router.

You can now connect to your network and continue to use the WiFi connection using this SSID(Network ID) and password. If you want a custom SSID (Network ID) and password, follow thesteps below: Step 2:On your web browser, type the IP address as below and hit ENTER:

Click WLAN near the top of the page.From there click WLAN Basic Configuration located in the left hand side bar.

1. Enter your preferred SSID Name, this will be the broadcasted WiFi indicator.

2. Next make sure that the Authentication Mode is set to WPA2 PreSharedKey.

3. Ensure Encryption Mode is set to AES.

4. Set your WiFi/Network password in WPA PreSharedKey.

5. Check that the Enable WLAN, Enable SSID and Broadcast SSID is checked.

6. Lastly click Apply.

Step 5:

Save configuration and restart

DONE

Go to System Tools tab and click the Save and Restart button.
