Introduction
The digital transformation movement continues its frenetic pace across Asia Pacific. Enterprises are
rushing transformative projects to avoid being left out of the race to win customer’s hearts, minds
and wallets. Vendors are jostling for a rapidly shrinking IT budget that is seeing itself splintered
between backend, middle and frontend modernization and digitalization efforts. One industry stands
above all others as the foundation from which all transformations – digital or otherwise – will
redefine the business and the industry. The communications sector is the fabric that binds all others,
allowing communities to be built, platforms to be shared, and ideas to cross borders – create new
business paradigms.
