Telemedicine

According to a recent survey by Intel, 89 percent of healthcare executives expect telemedicine to transform theU.S. healthcare system in the next decade.

At least 300 hospitals in the U.S. and some two-thirds of radiology practices use some form of teleradiology

A recent study estimated that “the market for telemedicinedevices and services will generate nearly $3.6 billion in annualrevenue within the next five years.

The global healthcare IT market is expected to grow from$99.6 billion in 2010 to $162.2 billion in 2015, at a CAGR of 10.2% from 2010 to 2015.
