Standard messages are programmed in the system and cover common requests, including Estimated Time of Arrival and Return to Base. Free text messages allow 400 characters. These messages keep the lines open between the office and the road. DIRECTOR also offers form messages, a powerful feature that allows dispatchers to set up multi-step processes for drivers. Dispatchers can create forms for drivers to complete on their in-vehicle tablet. Multiple forms can be linked sequentially, creating a process for drivers to follow as they complete a work order, make a delivery, or pick up a load. Teletrac Navman provides API access to manage integrations between form messages and back-end office systems.

LOCATION MANAGEMENT

Geo-fences allow businesses to monitor activity within a user-set perimeter. Users can set up automated emails to indicate unauthorised movement within a Site, helping prevent loss and highlight suspicious activity. Sites in DIRECTOR can be rectangular or polygonal. They are drawn and saved directly on the map, colour-coded based on type, and can be redrawn with no restriction on size or shape.
