3. DescriptionThe TT352 series SMART temperature transmitters are microprocessor based instruments that combinetheanalogsignaladvantages(4-20mA)togetherwiththeflexibilityofdigitalcommunicationusingHART® protocol. Theycanberemotelyconfiguredbyauniversalhandheldterminal(HHT)orbyaPCwithadedicatedinterface.Moreover,itispossibletolocallyconfiguretheinstruments(zeroandspan)bymeansofpushbuttonsandtodisplaythedataonthewideLCDdisplay.The TT352 transmitters are able to accept 3 wires PT 100 ohm resistance thermometers and total accuracyisdependingonclassofthesensorsutilizedsuchasDINA,DINB,1/3DIN,1/5DIN,1/10DINetc.Basedonthesereadingsthemicroprocessorgeneratesthe4-20mAanalogoutput"twowiressystem"anddisplaysthetemperaturemeasurementontheLCD.Someofthemaincharacteristicsofthismicroprocessor-basedtransmitter,are:- WideRangeability;- Automatictemperaturecompensation;- DigitalcommunicationusingHART® protocol.
