The House at Temple Sowerby is a Grade 2 Listed Georgian building in the heart of

the Eden Valley village of Temple Sowerby. It’s a beautiful building, surrounded by almost 2 acres of walled garden, bursting with flowers and trees, creating a perfect backdrop for those special photographs.

With 12 individually styled bedrooms and an award winning 2AA rosette restaurant, The House is the perfect place to host an intimate wedding. Our Events team has years of experience in the hospitality and events management field and will guide you through the choices on offer making sure that all your wishes are brought to life.

The Rooms at Temple Sowerby provide you with those little touches that are so

important to your wedding day preparation. Some of our packages offer the option of a bridal suite for you and your bridesmaids and hair and make-up teams.

The full length mirrors, lots of light, plenty of power and did we mention the prosecco, will make sure you are picture perfect on the day.

The Restaurant at Temple Sowerby looks out on to the walled garden and is full of

light. It’s modern and spacious and will complement your wedding theme perfectly. We also have a number of other function rooms, all of which offer the same great service, food and wine.

Let’s talk food. Our chefs will create a seasonal menu individually tailored to your tastes. Combine that with a selection of wines, innovative canapes, excellent service and a well stocked bar that is close by, and you have everything you need for a perfect celebration.
