Ø  Interfaces  Designed  Early  •  Current  Schedule:  

•  Instrument  PDR  ~10/2014.  CDR  ~10/2015.  Instrument  complete  ~5/2017.  

•  Host  contract  award  ~3/2015.  Spacecra3  award  no5onally  mid-­‐2016  for  11/2018  launch.      

•  Original  instrument  assump5on  included  spacecra]  selec5on  by  instrument  PDR  or  as  early  as  possible  a]er  PDR.  

•  Time  period  between  Instrument  PDR  &  Host  award  poses  risk  to  instrument-­‐to-­‐spacecra]  interface.      

•  Work  currently  underway  to  iden5fy  interface  bounding  parameters  and  specific  risks  associated  with  later  spacecra]  ATP.    Early  TEMPO  Host  Accommoda5on  studies  will  provide  addi5onal  input  into  risk  assessment.

•  Ini5al  18  months  of  spacecra]  development  cycle  occur  prior  to  instrument  delivery,  driving  spacecra]  ATP  to  ~6/2016.
