About the Event
• Tent City is an annual event to build relationships between Toledo’s have’s and have-nots. Formerly known as the Homeless Awareness Project Tent City, this event is coordinated by 1Matters.org and brings dozens of volunteers together with area homeless in Civic Mall.
About the Event, cont.
• On Saturday, October 30th, 2010, five students from the Lourdes College Student Election Poll Worker Program attended Tent City in order to register new Lucas County Voters and Election Poll Workers.
• It was a Success! We recruited 80 new poll workers!
