BAMBERMICÍN 80 es una premezcla medicamentosa especialmente formulada para su incorporación al alimento balanceado. Su mínima absorción a nivel intestinal permite su uso como antibiótico tópico entérico para la prevención de enteritis necrótica.La Bambermicina es un antibiótico glicolipídico producido por el Streptomyces bambergiensis, que actúa inhibiendo la síntesis de pared celular bacteriana, interfiriendo en la síntesis del peptidoglicano, en sitios diferentes a los de acción de las penicilinas. En consecuencia, no reviste resistencia cruzada con las mismas. La Bambermicina no se absorbe a nivel intestinal eliminándose en forma inalterada a través de las heces, lo que le confiere un período de retiro nulo. Los efectos sobre la flora intestinal se basan en la disminución de Clostridium perfringens, reduciendo la mortalidad por enteritis necrótica y facilitando la absorción de nutrientes y la ganancia de peso. Se reporta que posee actividad sobre Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp., Pasteurella sp. y Brucella sp.

Dosis y administración:Vía oral en el alimento. Aves: 125 - 150 g de Bambermicin 80/To AB.Porcinos: Lechones: 125 a 135 g de Bambermicin 80/To AB. Engorde: 50 a 250 g de Bambermicin 80/To AB.Conejos: 100 a 200 g de Bambermicin 80/To AB.Terneros: 200 g de Bambermicin 80/To AB.

Thanks to its minimal absorption in the gut, it is possible to use it as a topical antibiotic to prevent necrotic enteritis.Bambermycin is a glycolipid antibiotic produced by Streptomyces bambergiensis. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, interfering with peptidoglycan synthesis but in sites where penicillins do not act. Thus, there is no cross-resistance between Bambermycin and penicillin. As Bambermycin is not absorbed in the gut because it is eliminated unchanged in faeces, there is no withdrawal period. The effects on the intestinal flora occur due to a reduced number of Clostridium perfringens. Mortality rates caused by necrotic enteritis are reduced and nutrient absorption and weight gain are facilitated. It is reported that it has a spectrum of activity against Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp., Pasteurella sp. and Brucella sp.
