PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
“Saint Ladislaus Parish is a Roman Catholic Christian
community which has preserved our heritage and culture
since 1907. As we proceed into the future, we will strive to
reach out and welcome our neighbors to become a part of
our parish community through worship and spiritual
support.”
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
Arrangements should be made at least 6 months in advance.
Couples must schedule an appointment with the pastor prior
to scheduling a wedding. All couples are required to attend
a Diocesan Marriage Preparation Course.
SACRAMENT OF PENANCE
Saturday afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30 pm or by appointment
in the Church office.
PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK
Contact the rectory if you know a parishioner who is in the
hospital, nursing home or is homebound and would like to
receive communion and/or a visit from a priest. Due to new
regulations procedures, patient information is strictly
regulated.
NEW REGISTRATIONS
You can register by calling the rectory and coming in to fill
out the Census Card. You must provide copies of your
most recent Sacrament certificates (Baptism,
Communion, etc) for each member of the family.

The next scheduled day for Baptisms is
January 12, 2020 at 1:45 pm. The
pre-baptismal class will be held on Saturday,
January 11, 2020 at 5:30 pm in the Church
Basement. Please call the office for

YOUTH CHOIR If you are 8+ years old, and God has given you
the desire to sing or the ability to play an
instrument, please consider sharing that gift
with your parish family! There are no auditions.
We only ask that you volunteer to share your gifts
with us! If you are interested, please come up to
the Choir loft after the 10am Mass. The choir is
always looking for new members.
QUINCEAÑERAs 2020 Teenage girls who turn 15 or 16 years old during the course of the year, have a chance to celebra-te this significant milestone with a Holy Mass
and/or special blessing. For more information, please call or visit the
Parish office.
SANCTUARY LAMPS ARE AVAILABLE.
At your request, we are preparing the schedule for 2020. You may reserve the candle by calling the rectory. The ordi-nary donation is $ 20.00 for two weeks.
YOUTH GROUP Remember the youth group meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Church
basement. It is open to young people in 8th through 12th grade. New members are always
welcome!

ALTAR FLOWER OFFERINGS
Please note that as of this month, your flower offerings will be used for our Altar Flowers
only. Your intentions will be placed on the Altar beside the flower vases. Please call the office to
schedule your dates for 2020.

MATRIMONY
The process must be started at least six (6) months before the marriage. Couples must
request an appointment with the Priest before scheduling their wedding. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO RECEIVE THIS SACRAMENT AT OUR PARISH, PLEASE SECURE YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH THE PRIEST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Couples are required to attend a marriage preparation course, for which they must register directly with the Diocese of Bridgeport. We will be having a Christmas Mass Preparation meeting

Due to the holiday season, there will be NO

CHRISTMAS NOVENA AND POSADAS
Everyone is invited to come
and join us from December
16th to December 23rd at
7:00 pm, in our Church for
daily Mass and for the
traditional Posadas and
Novena, a tradition from Latin America consisting of
prayers and singing. On December 23rd, we will meet
in the basement for refreshments.

PHONE Starting January 5, 2020 we will not longer have our bulletins
printed by LPI Publishing Company. Our contract ends the last
weekend of December because of very low advertising, so we are
unable to renew the contract. Hence, we will be printing a simpler
weekly bulletin, including your Mass intentions plus basic news
and updates. Moving forward, we encourage you to download the
bulletin directly from our website, our Facebook page, or by sign-
ing up for a weekly "Text" via your smartphone. Thank you!
