• Conducting monitoring and progress review– Liaising and regular monitoring of partner KH for progress in

activities viz-a-viz KRAs (Key Result Areas)– Produce scorecards for Hubs– Develop and maintain a network of partners (resource agencies and

persons)

• Updating and revitalizing the website– For information sharing/dissemination, announcements,

publications/stories, collaborative projects, publicity etc. – Create and constantly update a database of (i) relevant literature and

statistics; (ii) Management and governance tools; and (iii) resource persons and institutions

• Objective: to promote corporate leadership in environmental management, social responsibility, and economic performance without compromising business competitiveness

• Established: 2000• Organisation: unit within TERI, headed by a Director• Membership: 100+ companies operating within India• Funding sources: supported primarily by its corporate members, with

revenues from events organised (for members and non-members) • Activities: (1) hosting events (preference in attendance given to

members); (2) liaising between members, on one hand, and government agencies as well as relevant policy and research institutions, on the other; (3) conducting technical training programmes for corporate managers; (4) outreach through publications

• The Executive Committee and Board comprise TERI staff as well as industry representatives

AEI (Asian Energy Institute)

• Objectives: (1) facilitate sharing and dissemination of knowledge; (2) undertake research and training activities; and (3) analyse global energy developments and their implications

• Established: 1989• Organisation: TERI hosts the AEI Secretariat • Membership: 17 institutes from 14 Asian countries + 14 other associate

member institutes (from Asia and beyond)• Funding sources: organizations including foundations, bilateral agencies and

government organizations. Members also provide in-kind support.• Brings out a semiannual newsletter about the diverse research activities

undertaken by member institutes • Registered in India; has a unique status and a separate bank account • International board (including Executive Committee) comprises

representatives from member countries; both President and Secretary are from TERI

• Currently also hosts the South Asian Regional Secretariat for REEEP (Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership), which is headquartered in Vienna, Austria
