Congratulations to our State finalists!
Riley came 5th in the state in 12/13yrs Shot Put.
Our relay team was the fastest in the state. They finished first by around 30
metres in the final but unfortunately due to a technicality with the rules,
were disqualified. We are extremely proud of Riley, Josh, Lucy and Sophia!
In our hearts and minds they are true champions!
State Drama Performance
Keegan, Jack, Albie and Bryson are performing today at the State Drama Festival. They are part of the group performing, a piece ‘Under the Skin’ at the Seymour Centre. They will perform twice, in the Primary School Matinee and in the evening performance. Congratulations!
Kindergarten Orientation
Yesterday we welcomed our ten Kindergarten students for 2016! Morgan,
Jonte, Jaspa, Ella, Kyla, Ellyse, Matylda, Molly, Ruby and Ebony had a
wonderful time in the K/1/2 classroom with K/1 and Mrs Blackford and Mrs
Dobbins. Parents and grandparents were welcomed to a meeting in the
School Library with Miss Lennard, Mrs Blackford, and Shannon, who was
representing our school P and C. We all enjoyed a special morning tea.
Please enjoy the photos which are featured in the memo. We now look
forward to seeing our 2016 Kindergarten students for some further visits
throughout the term.
