per term) . For families with a child under 4.

Chair Yoga - 10:00-11:00am, $5 registered CHSP

clients or $10 for general public. A gentle program

ideal for people experiencing restriction of movement

or recovering from physical limitations. Participate at

your own level. Includes relaxation.

TED Talks- 1:00pm-3pm. Bring a friend to The

Summit, have a coffee and choose from a short list of

The Red Shed - Sunday Session Come along to our new Sunday morning session at The Red Shed at Uraidla on the last Sunday of each month. All welcome, and no special skills required. Work on your own project, repair broken items, get involved in a community project whilst meeting new people.

Film Launch & Making Play Suits for Nature Play* Making play suits for nature play out of pre-loved woollen jumpers.

Karra Watta Community Lunches* A free community lunch available to anyone in the community who may be feeling a little isolated, is new to the area or would like to reconnect with old friends and make new connections by coming together to enjoy a hearty meal.

Mindscape Art Exhibition* Mindscape is an exhibition showcasing works of imagination, whimsy and fun by a collection of Hill's artists.

Reconciliation Week Story Telling with Ivan* Celebrate the history and culture of the Peramangk people at these campfire story telling evenings with Peramangk elder Ivan Tiwu Copley. Bring a chair or blanket, get comfortable by the campfire and experience how education and storytelling go hand in hand. We will hear stories about traditional food, the environment, what it means to the Peramangk people and how this applies to all Australians in caring for Country and each other for the future. CWA Travelling History Exhibition Celebration 90 years of the South Australian CWA. This exhibition is hosted by the Uraidla and Dis-tricts and Stirling CWA branches.

In Search of Safety - Seeking Humanity In Search of Safety is a community education program that dispels the myths around asylum seekers. The session will explain why and how people need to flee their country, and describes the difference between asylum seekers, refugees and illegal immigrants.

Clever Belly Kitchen - Shared Seasonal Table* Belinda from Clever Belly Kitchen will deliver a wonderful and healthy cooking workshop using fresh, seasonal produce. This is a hands on workshop for people of all ages, finishing with a shared lunch.

Macramé - Wall Hangings with Knot Modern* Mary from Knot Modern will be teaching the fun and therapeutic craft of macramé with a lovely wall hanging project to make during the session and take home. Be quick only 10 tickets available!

The Summit Book Swap Choose from a wonderful range of books curated through the Adelaide Hills Council Library service. Picture books, gardening, fiction, autobiographies and more. Borrow and return or swap with a book from home.

Poppies Project Can you knit, crochet….or sew? Perhaps you might like to learn how to? We have an important project that we’d love your help with. Local groups The Ring of Oaks Quilters, Pins ‘n’ Needles and the Spinners and Weavers have started knitting, crocheting and sewing poppies for a second spectacular wall hanging that will feature on the Gumeracha Town Hall. ….but we need your help! We would love it if you could assist us in creating these beautiful hand crafted poppies.

Making Pastry with Scoffed* Join Scoffed Cooking School to learn the art of making pastry, also covering off on a sweet and savoury pastry recipe! The session includes a tasting, plus handy tips and tricks.

Introduction to Mindfulness* Classes provide support for participants to engage with, learn and integrate meditation and mindfulness into their everyday life to reduce stress, increase energy and enhance overall wellbeing. The classes support beginners and experienced meditators. The mindfulness workshop will be facilitated by Tim, an Australian Centre of Holistic Studies (ACHS) qualified and experienced teacher of meditation and mindfulness. Please note this course is only open to participants who haven't attended the previous Introduction to Mindfulness course at the centre. Virtual Reality -Nefertari: Journey to Eternity In Egypt's legendary Valley of the Queens lies Queen Nefertari's tomb, one of the modern world's most detailed windows into ancient Egyptians' journey towards the afterlife. Now, state-of-the-art technology has made it possible to digitally scan Nerfertari's tomb with millimetre accuracy. Sessions are limited to 25 minutes per person and some exclusions apply. This activity is suitable for anyone aged 8 and above. From the interactive ground breaking documentary of Apollo 11 to gazing at the milky way, this session is definitely something for lovers of outer-space. Internet Café — Free access to Internet, bring along any SA Library card, or we can set you up as a visitor. Facility / Room Hire — Our Community Centres have room hire available for community events, training, classes and limited private functions. Library Services — Library opening times available on the Adelaide Hills Council Website. Justice of the Peace — Services are available every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00pm - 4.00pm at the Torrens Valley Community Centre and by appointment at The Summit. Financial Counselling—Services are available by appointment at The Summit. Information — Local tourist information, health services, lots of other resources and The Natural Resource Centre at The Summit.
